<p><b>JOB DESCRIPTION</b></p><p>Insight Global is seeking a Aircraft Assembler to join one of Victorias largest aerospace manufacturing companies. This opportunity will be<b> onsite in Victoria, BC and a relocation package will be offered</b>.</p><p><br></p><p>• Study and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand assembly requirements</p><p>• Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and form sheet metal components according to specifications</p><p>• Assemble sheet metal parts and components to create sub-assemblies or finished products, adhering to strict quality standards</p><p>• Conduct thorough inspections of assembled components to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to aerospace industry standards</p><p>• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances, making adjustments as necessary</p><p>• Safely handle and store sheet metal materials, ensuring proper organization and inventory control</p><p>• Work closely with other members of the manufacturing team, including engineers and machinists, to achieve seamless integration of sheet metal components into larger assemblies</p><p>• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment</p><p><br></p><p><b>REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE</b></p><p>• Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent is required</p><p>• Any technical or trades qualifications/certificates, or training would be considered an asset</p><p>• Ability to complete a criminal background check</p><p>• 2+ years of manufacturing, aerospace, warehousing or construction experience is considered an asset</p><p>• Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication machinery</p><p>• Ability to interpret and understand drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications</p><p>• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)</p><p>• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team</p><p>• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work</p><p>• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety guidelines</p><p>• Must have and maintain the ability to legally work in Canada</p>
