Description
The Associate will be hired through Ascend Partner’s 2-year career development program called CLIMB (Consultants Learning IT, Management, and Business). This program empowers new graduates and working professionals with practical expertise in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) through OneStream. As Associates make their way through associate program, they’ll receive dynamic training, personalized mentorship, and hands-on business applications to become a sought-after OneStream expert.
The Associate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of OneStream solutions. The role will support the design, development, deployment, testing, monitoring, and training of OneStream solutions to ensure it meets the business requirement operates effectively and streamlines the user experience. This position will conduct user training as required.
- The first 12 weeks of the 2-year period will be dedicated to comprehensive training to ensure proficiency in essential skills, followed by a salary increase.

Position Responsibilities
Learning
- Participate in a 12-week training program with a view towards becoming a OneStream Administrator. During this time, the Associate will have the opportunity to become familiar with their work as well as the Company policies and procedures.
- Following the successful completion of the 12-week training program, as a condition of continued employment, the Associate is required to pass the OneStream Administrator Certification between week 13 and 17 of their employment.
- Apply learned skills throughout the 2-year associate program to implement the skills and knowledge acquired in daily work tasks and projects to improve performance and productivity.
- Maintain a record of progress throughout the 2-year associate program, including completed training and certifications, acquired skills, and areas for improvement.
Technical
- Support team members during application/system design, development, and build
- Maintain scalable applications and/or features
- Facilitate code reviews, bug/defect triage, and support well-informed decisions toward business and client implementation goals
- Proactively contribute to debugging, troubleshooting, and devising solutions to mitigate and address them
- Provide technical support after implementation as may be required
- Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in, both, Ascend’s and OneStream’s products, services, and best practices
- View new learning opportunities enthusiastically and gather as much knowledge to take you to the next level
Communication
- Communicate technical information to technical and non-technical individuals to ensure alignment with an implementation strategy
- Provide regular updates to team members and/or senior staff on the status of projects
- Collaborate with various teams to influence and attain buy-in on solution execution
Client
- Confer with clients, when requested, to identify, analyze, and document requirements
- Provide training and ongoing support to internal team members and client personnel
- Must be willing to travel and work from various business locations and remotely as applicable
Quality
- Work to reduce inefficiencies by identifying problems and implementing corrective measures
- Comply with all quality and industry standards
- Be open to constructive criticism designed to improve your skills

Qualification & Skills
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent communications skills including both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent organization and time management
- Strong presentation skills
- Solid problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Must be results driven with an entrepreneurial mindset
