With Bullhorn ATS integrated today and ADP, Dynamics, DS platforms, commissions, and an FP&A tool (Workday under consideration) to be integrated – we are seeking a senior, hands-on leader to own the end-to-end data platform and analytics operating model.</p><p><br></p><p>This role sits within Operations, reports to the COO, and is foundational to Finance’s FP&A requirements as well as front-of-house reporting for KPIs, commissions, and forecasting. The successful candidate will combine strong platform leadership with a builder’s mindset: comfortable architecting the target state, implementing it in Fabric/Power BI, and operating it day-to-day in a fast-moving, growth environment.</p><p><br></p><p><b>What You’ll Own</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li><b>Platform Ownership: </b>End-to-end ownership of Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Warehouse/Lakehouse patterns, pipelines) as Tundra’s unified data layer; reliability, performance, cost management, and governance.</li><li><b>Reporting Layer:</b> Ownership of Power BI semantic models, certified datasets, dashboards, and KPI frameworks used by ELT, GTM (Sales), Delivery, Operations, and Finance.</li><li><b>Systems Integration:</b> Integrate Bullhorn ATS, DS platforms, ADP, Dynamics, commission systems, and the selected FP&A tool into a governed analytics model.</li><li><b>FP&A Enablement:</b> Partner with Finance to implement the FP&A platform (Workday under consideration); ensure clean data feeds, dimensional models, and planning views (contribution vs. true financial P&L) from Fabric.</li><li><b>Forecasting & Planning Support:</b> Operationalize driver-based forecasting (demand, capacity, pricing, mix) with Ops/GTM (Sales)/Delivery while ensuring Finance-grade data integrity.</li><li><b>Commissions & Performance Analytics:</b> Enable commission calculations and performance-to-target visibility (Ops-owned logic with Finance audit), integrated to Fabric and Power BI.</li><li><b>Data Governance & Quality:</b> Define KPI definitions, data contracts, lineage, certification, access controls, and quality SLAs; enforce “one dataset, multiple governed views.”</li><li><b>Security & Compliance:</b> Partner with IT/Security on access, privacy, and compliance across Fabric and Power BI.</li><li><b>Hands-On Delivery:</b> Personally design models, build pipelines, ship Power BI assets, and unblock teams—especially in the first 6–12 months.</li><li><b>Operating Model:</b> Establish run-books, monitoring, and support for the data platform; scale the team thoughtfully over time.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Who You Are</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li><b>Builder-Leader</b>: You’ve owned modern data platforms and still enjoy hands-on work (SQL, models, pipelines, Power BI).</li><li><b>Commercially Fluent</b>: You understand staffing/services economics (revenue, GM, utilization, pricing, contribution margin) and how analytics drives behavior.</li><li><b>Microsoft Stack Strong</b>: Deep experience with Microsoft Fabric (or Azure Synapse + ADLS), Power BI (semantic models, DAX), and modern ELT.</li><li><b>FP&A Adjacent</b>: Experience enabling FP&A tools (Workday Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment, Vena) and reconciling planning vs. actuals.</li><li><b>Integration Ready</b>: Comfortable integrating ATS/CRM (Bullhorn), ERP (Dynamics), HRIS (ADP), and commission systems.</li><li><b>Pragmatic Operator</b>: You prioritize shipping value over perfection and can stand up v1 quickly, then iterate.</li><li><b>Cross-Functional Leader</b>: Strong communicator who aligns Ops, GTM (Sales), and Finance on one governed data model.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>8–12+ years in data/analytics platform roles with increasing ownership.</li><li>Proven experience standing up a modern data platform for BI and planning.</li><li>Strong Power BI modeling (DAX, semantic models) and SQL.</li><li>Experience integrating ERP/HRIS/ATS data.</li><li>Exposure to FP&A tooling and planning models.</li><li>Staffing/MSP/RPO/services or SaaS experience preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>The base salary range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $150,000 – $200,000.</p><p><br></p><p>Our benefits offering includes medical, dental, vision, and 401K.</p><p><br></p><p>This posting is for an existing vacancy. </p><p><br></p><p>At Tundra, we are dedicated to building an inclusive and authentic workplace.
