Description

Looking for a Business Analyst for a contact with one of the major Canadian banks. This BA must have strong communication skills and strong capital markets experience. This BA will sit on the business side of the PMO [not the technology side] and will be working with business stakeholders.

Duration: 6 month contract to start, very high chance of extension.

Location: core downtown Toronto

Hybrid Model: 2 days a week on site

Rate: depends on expertise level (must be within 75-90/hr incorporated rate-range)

Qualifications

  • 10+ years as a BA
  • 7+ years in Capital Markets
  • Experience sitting on the business side of programs, engaging with business stakeholders and sr. level executives
  • Experience working with Front, Middle and Back Office stakeholders globally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
  • CBAP, CCBA or industry certifications highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Engage with trading desks, support teams, and control owners to elicit, document, and validate business/control requirements.
  • Map controls, workflows, and resiliency measures across asset classes and geographies.
  • Maintain and update documentation for audit/regulatory readiness.
  • Analyze current-state processes and controls, identify manual gaps, and propose enhancements.
