BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (BDR)

Forgestik is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. As a BDR, you will play a crucial role in driving our company’s growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding our client base and increasing revenue.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: To be discussed based on experience and expertise

Type of Employment: Full-time, permanent

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week

Languages Spoken and Written: English Native or fully bilingual

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will assist the sales department:

  • Identify and prospect new potential clients:

-Make at least 3-4 hours of cold calls per day, aiming to generate 1-2 leads per week.

-Reach out to various industry sectors, including nonprofit organizations, financial services, and more.

-Qualify leads generated from marketing campaigns.

  • Present the company’s ERP offerings to potential clients, highlighting key benefits and features of SAP Business One, Sage Intacct, and SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public.
  • Understand clients’ needs and propose suitable solutions to their business requirements.
  • Organize meetings with potential clients for the sales teams.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities, including leads, opportunities, and client interactions, using CRM software.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for improving sales and achieving better results.

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE SOUGHT:

  • Certificate, technical diploma, or bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Understanding of sales processes, marketing strategies, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems (asset).
  • 3 years of experience.
  • Strong communication skills: English (written and spoken) or bilingual (English and French).
  • Strong ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and sales data to identify opportunities.
  • Proficiency in the Office suite.
  • Good knowledge of software applications. Knowledge of ERP systems is an asset.
  • Positive attitude, resilience in the face of challenges, strong team spirit, proactive and driven, excellent negotiation skills, and thrives in dynamic environments.
