About Kumon:
Kumon North America’s Customer Service team is dedicated to supporting families and students on their learning journey. Our mission is to ensure every interaction is engaging, efficient, and effective, bridging the gap between our customers and the Kumon brand.
Position Overview:
Role: Call Centre Agent (Remote)
Location: Applicants must reside in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, or Quebec. This is a fully remote, work-from-home position.
Compensation: $23.81 – $25.66 per hour (hourly, not eligible for Kumon’s group benefits or any other benefits)
Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week (excluding statutory holidays such as January 1st and December 25th)
- Looking for candidates that are available for working hours 12:30pm – 9:00pm EST.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls to 1-800-ABC-MATH and Kumon centres participating in the Kumon Lead Management System
- Manage inquiries from potential new customers interested in the Kumon Program and scheduling assessments
- Respond to questions from enrolled and non-enrolled families about Kumon initiatives
- Collaborate with other departments using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Salesforce)
- Ensure all customer interactions are positive and aligned with Kumon’s mission
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma required
- Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Previous customer service experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer and technical skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Analytical skills, time management, and prioritization abilities
- Previous administrative experience (asset)
- Salesforce experience (asset)
