Chef Comptable (Division Produits de Consommation)
Le client est un fabricant indépendant de produits de consommation en Amérique du Nord, avec des opérations mondiales. Leur portefeuille comprend plus de 40 marques reconnues dans les domaines de l’entretien ménager et des produits pour piscines.

Lieu : Montréal, QC
Mode de travail : Hybride – 3 jours au bureau (flexibilité possible)

Responsabilités :

  • Superviser l’équipe des comptes fournisseurs (3 personnes)
  • Effectuer les écritures de fin de mois et gérer le grand livre
  • Préparer les états financiers mensuels, trimestriels et annuels
  • Analyser les performances financières et présenter les bilans
  • Participer aux audits internes et à la gestion de la trésorerie
  • Collaborer avec les autres départements et soutenir les projets ponctuels

Profil recherché :
Formation :

  • Baccalauréat en comptabilité
  • Titre CPA (un atout)

Expérience :

  • 10+ ans en gestion comptable, idéalement en fabrication ou vente au détail
  • Solide expérience en clôtures mensuelles, audits internes et gestion de bilans

Compétences :

  • Maîtrise avancée d’Excel et d’un ERP (JD Edwards un atout)
  • Rigueur, souci du détail, excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles
  • Leadership mobilisateur et capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités

Chief Accountant (Consumer Products Division)
The client is a leading independent manufacturer of consumer products in North America with global operations. Their portfolio includes over 40 well-known brands in household and pool care.

Location: Montreal, QC
Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 days in-office (flexible)

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Accounts Payable team (3 members)
  • Perform month-end entries and manage the general ledger
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Analyze financial performance and present balance sheets
  • Support internal audits and cash management
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to ad hoc projects

Candidate Profile:
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • CPA designation (a plus)

Experience:

  • 10+ years in accounting leadership, ideally in manufacturing or retail
  • Strong background in month-end close, internal audits, and balance sheet management

Skills:

  • Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency (JD Edwards a plus)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Motivational leadership and ability to manage multiple priorities
