About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Claims Specialist to join our team in investigating, quantifying, and settling complex property claims. This role involves managing complex property claims across various distribution channels, including residential, commercial property, and equipment breakdown losses.
- Investigate relatively complex commercial and personal lines property claims in a timely and respectful manner through communication with customers, contractors, consultants, and other related parties.
- Handle field tasks on behalf of telephone adjusters, provide superior quality of customer service, and answer queries relating to the claims process.
- Analyze information gathered, interpret insurance policy wording, determine coverage, assess damage, and negotiate with customers, claimants, lawyers, and insurers to settle claims.
