Guided by our core values of closeness, teamwork, diversity, and excellence, our team of 1,000 expert consultants, representing 35 different nationalities, collaborates across 10 international offices: We are currently looking for a Senior Cloud Developer to join one of our major clients, an international bank based in Montreal.
The Senior Cloud Developer will be embedded in a global team split between Montréal and Paris, managing and evolving a secure, enterprise-grade Azure cloud platform. The role focuses on building cloud automation, CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and onboarding support for internal development teams migrating from on-premise infrastructure (including traditional VMs) to Azure.
This position combines both modern cloud engineering and infrastructure expertise, with hands-on involvement in virtual machine management, networking, and secure service provisioning. Design and implement automation for provisioning Azure services under strict security and compliance constraints.
Maintain and upgrade existing Azure services, ensuring compatibility with evolving Microsoft offerings and managing vendor escalations.
Develop internal tooling and APIs (in Python/.NET/Java) to enhance cloud operations (cost optimization, resilience checks, performance dashboards).
Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other DevOps tools to support reliable cloud service delivery.
Act as a technical advisor for project teams onboarding to Azure, assisting in architectural design and governance.
Support internal training initiatives and promote best practices for cloud adoption.
Technical environment:
Languages & Scripting: Python, Shell, PowerShell
Microsoft Azure (core services: AKS, Synapse, HDInsight, Service Bus, Azure Database)
DevOps & CI/CD: Jenkins
Version Control / Collaboration: Git, Azure DevOps
Proven hands-on experience with the Azure ecosystem, particularly Virtual Machines and networking concepts (gateways, private endpoints).
Strong background in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Solid foundation in system administration with exposure to infrastructure management and application-level automation.
Bilingualism (English/French) is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional certification.
Fluent in English; French is a plus.
Ability to work in a hybrid model with 2-3 days on-site per week in Montreal.
