Summary:
The purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of entities in arrears that have been referred to the EconoLease Collections Department. You’ll be pivotal in liaising with our customers and Collections Partners to ensure the best possible outcome for both EconoLease and the customers. This role will include direct liaison with customers, collection partners, other EconoLease departments to ensure the best possible outcome for all parties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve economically desired outcomes on customers within individual arrears portfolio analysing each case meticulously. This includes working files not necessarily in your individual portfolio at times, as determined by the Collections Manager.
- Keep management informed and up to date, flagging any potential risks likely to have a significant financial impact on the arrears portfolio/business.
- Display consistent business acumen and be confident in asset resolution / difficult conversations with customers. The objective being to quickly resolve matters as and when they fall due.
- Other duties, as required, that lead to the effective and efficient running of the overall Collection’s function. These duties include, but not limited to, assisting in the development and implementation across the team of new and revised processes, procedures and systems.
- Meet individual and team key performance indicators.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience in a collection’s role or experience in a customer facing role with transferable skills.
- An effective communicator that has the ability to relate to customers and other stakeholders, both internal and external.
- High level of analytical skills.
- Decisive – Ability to make decisions quickly.
- A good working knowledge of the Silver Chef product suite and the systems and processes of the Silver Chef Group would be well regarded.
