Commercial Lines Assistant
About the Role
This role supports Producers, Marketers, and Clients, playing a key part in servicing and maintaining commercial accounts while helping build long-term relationships. This role is 100% in office.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate system notes and applications
- Review policy documents for accuracy and request corrections or endorsements
- Prepare submissions, proposals, cover notes, and policy documentation
- Issue binders, certificates, and proofs of insurance
- Handle routine day-to-day client and producer inquiries
- Process invoicing and payments
- Contact clients for renewal information
- Take inbound client calls and respond to coverage questions
Qualifications
- Level 2 license required
- Minimum 2 years of personal or commercial lines experience
- Experience with Applied Systems Epic (CSR24 an asset)
- Comfortable working with multiple insurance carriers
- Strong understanding of policy wordings
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
