Job Description:
- The Content Designer will play a pivotal role in enhancing digital experiences by shaping and delivering effective content strategies.
- The position supports the organization’s mission to lead in exceptional digital experiences through strategic content, collaboration, and focus on client needs and regulatory standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Create and implement strategies for client-focused digital content
- Facilitate collaborative design and ideation sessions
- Provide rationale and guidance for content strategies to product teams
- Set practical direction for communication standards, tools, and processes
- Advocate for clients’ needs regarding the role and impact of content in product design
- Produce clear, concise textual content for digital products (labels, explanatory text, metadata, etc.)
- Collaborate with peers to develop non-textual content and apply inclusive design principles
- Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance
- Manage content documentation and lifecycle
- Support and facilitate team-led research and testing on content effectiveness
- Conduct competitive and content audits in support of design or business goals.
Must Have:
- Post-secondary education (university degree or college diploma preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of writing experience in a creative agency or in-house creative team
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in English
- Portfolio showcasing professional copywriting work.
- Proficiency in French.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and remediation methods.
- Awareness of current design and technology trends.
