Role:- Field Technician (IMAC) Location- Montreal, QC
Job Type:- Contract
This position requires bilingual proficiency in French and English. It is based in Montreal.
As a Field Technician (IMAC), you will be responsible for the handling, installation, replacement, and configuration of laptops, desktops, and all associated peripherals for our clients’ end users. A valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle are required.
This role reports to the Customer Service Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
Installs, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems and documents the processes
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals
Performs a variety of complex tasks
Works under general supervision; a certain degree of creativity and independence is required
Installation, replacement/configuration of IT equipment and network peripherals
Performs “Smart Hands” support
Qualifications:
Experience in IT or a related field; familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field
Able to manage service calls in a real-time reporting environment
Capable of working independently with limited supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
