Job Description:

Another Mason Group exclusive! Our growing downtown Vancouver client has a requirement for a Corporate Controller. Our client offers a great culture and diverse learning experiences. If you are a Canadian CPA (or equivalent) with Canadian public company reporting experience, either from public practice or industry, then we really need to hear from you!

Our rapidly growing Vancouver client has asked us to find a keen individual who will excel in their very entrepreneurial environment.

You will be working very closely with the Director of Finance who is more than happy to mentor you.

You may be a Manager or Senior Manager in a public practice firm ideally with publicly listed, producing mining clients and ready to make the leap to industry. Alternately you have ticked that box and have already made the move to a reporting role for a mining company in commercial production. Having both public practice and industry experience would rocket you to the top of the list.

Beyond this, you are someone who enjoys learning from a talented team, and are happy to jump in and help with any new transaction when asked. From preparing consolidated financial statements, Notes and MD&A’s to learning about IPOs, RTOs, and changing exchanges. You will learn all you need to launch you towards that ultimate CFO role in future if that is your long-term goal. Sox experience would be very beneficial.

This really is an exciting opportunity to be part of a very successful group and be handsomely rewarded for your diligence. This will be a hybrid role that is primarily ‘in-office’ with ‘work-from-home’ one day a week. The office is located in Downtown Vancouver with easy access to transit and great restaurants.
