This full-time 12 month contract as an independent contractor will provide you with just that opportunity.

Our client is looking for a CPA who understands accounting, but who also loves working with accounting software modules and a diverse group of employees to lead this project over the next 12 months. The primary implementation is complete, but the software now needs to be customized and rolled out to a variety of different companies and divisions, of varying sizes and complexities.

Job Requirements:

  • A Canadian CPA designation or equivalent is required.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices, ideally including those appropriate for a non-profit.
  • 3+ years of total experience including a role in full cycle accounting AND project management experience rolling out accounting software or a software module throughout a reasonably complex organization.
  • Experience communicating with an audience across multiple departments within a company.
  • Detail oriented, highly adaptable, self-motivated and personable.
  • A passionate change agent who is comfortable being in the driver’s seat and leading the project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required along with a high degree of business acumen.
  • The ability to deal respectfully with all people and situations with honesty and integrity.
