We are seeking a highly qualified Director of Sales and Marketing for a premier hotel and resort position in the East Coast of Canadian in the Maritimes. While the position is open to applicants from all over Canada, Please note that relocation assistance will be limited.

Our client desires an exceptional Director of Sales and Marketing for a luxurious, branded, first-class property in the Maritimes. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in key sales initiatives, including sales blitzes, familiarization trips, client events, and tradeshows in Canada and the USA. A strong online presence and awareness of current trends in both branded and non-branded segments of the industry are essential.

Candidates must demonstrate a comprehensive approach to obtaining and maintaining a prioritized list of accounts, focusing on cultivating relationships and building business. Providing a stable and positive work environment for the sales team to achieve budgeted goals is crucial. They should demonstrate independence in their work and bring a mature, productive mindset to leading their sales team. A proven track record of success in managing major group and transit sales is required.

Preference will be given to candidates currently serving as a Director of Sales and Marketing, particularly those with extensive experience in a four-star property in Eastern Canada or elsewhere.
