Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced and safety-focused Drilling Site Representative to oversee rig operations and ensure the successful execution of drilling and completion activities for our client in Cold Lake AB. In this key role, you will be responsible for championing safety and compliance, coordinating site logistics, and providing technical support to ensure all operations meet company standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Shift: 14 Days On, 14 Days Off | 12-hours per day
  • Job type: Temporary| Full-time | 6-month contract

Responsibilities:

  • Champion Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) performance, ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory expectations.
  • Communicate and reinforce Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) standards at the rig site.
  • Monitor drilling activities and provide input to rig contractors to ensure proper implementation of well control and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure regular execution of safety, operational, and environmental drills.
  • Oversee the implementation of approved drilling and completion programs, utilizing change management protocols as needed.
  • Coordinate site logistics including personnel, services, and equipment for seamless rig operations.
  • Provide technical surveillance and support related to:
  • Kick detection and abnormal pressure trends
  • Torque and drag
  • Mud properties and solids control
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of daily and end-of-well reports.
  • Collaborate with engineering and geology teams to align on well objectives and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in rig supervisory or leadership roles for drilling/completions.
  • Hands-on experience working on Super Single rigs or slant drilling operations is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with slant well drilling, particularly in SAGD or multi-well pad environments.
  • Prior experience with a major Operator or Drilling Contractor.
  • Valid Well Control Certification
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced rig environment.
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
