Position OverviewCalian is seeking a Bilingual Junior eLearning Developer for a short-term, on-site contract at CFB Kingston, supporting innovative training solutions for the defence sector. In this role, you will create engaging, SCORM-compliant eLearning content, troubleshoot course issues, and collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery across various platforms and devices.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop engaging eLearning modules using tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe CaptivateEnsure courses are SCORM-compliant and function properly across Learning Management Systems (LMS)Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to course functionality and deploymentCollaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and project stakeholders to align content with learning objectivesSupport the integration of multimedia elements, including audio, video, and graphicsAssist in the testing and quality assurance of eLearning productsMaintain accurate documentation related to course development and updatesOther duties as assignedQualificationsFluency in both French and English (oral and written)Diploma or degree in a related field such as Instructional Design, Multimedia, Education Technology, or Computer ScienceExperience developing SCORM-compliant eLearning using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similarFamiliarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online course deploymentStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsExperience working with HTML/CSS is an assetPrevious experience in a defence or government environment is considered an assetAdditional RequirementsYou will be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level
