Electrical Engineer – ottawa

Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform the following duties:

Provide advice on design specifications for electrical and electronic systems and equipment, applicable standards, power budget requirements, current and future expansion needs;

Provide input into the preparation of tender documents, evaluation of tenders and preparation of contractual documents;

Provide advice on equipment obsolescence and identify suitable replacements;

Provide advice on CAF/DND policies, guidelines, directives, orders, instructions, and other documents related to batteries, generators and other electrical equipment;

Provide advice on the procurement of laboratory equipment needed to test power and control systems;

Provide advice on improvements, quality management or automation of field and laboratory processes and procedures;
