Location: Nisku, Alberta

Contact Length: 1 year contract + extensions/potential to convert to FTE

Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 3:30 pm, 100% onsite

OT Potential: Yes

PR: $20-25hr

JD: Under strict supervision, performs repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and other equipment used in the application for down-hole tools, including Directional/ RSS or M/LWD sensors. Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Areas of specialization may include: mechanical aptitude, electronics aptitude, computer skills, assembly and disassembly of tools associated with PSL equipment, or Measure while drilling and/or Logging While Drilling down-hole tools.

Must Haves:

1. Basic electronic service background would be an asset but not required

2. Soldering experience would be an asset

3. Basic hand tools use (Ex. Chain Tong, Multimeter, power supply, torque wrench, etc)

4. Basic computer skill requires

5. Basic Microsoft Office experience (Excel, words, TEAMS, Email)

6. Requires a technical school certificate, or equivalent. An associate degree or higher is preferred.

Additional Skills:

1. Attention to Detail is a must

2. Work may be repetitive at times & very High demand

3. Able to read and understand mechanical and electronic schematic

Additional Job Description information:

Perform service on various M/LWD downhole tool

Perform daily maintenance equipment check (Break out Machine, overhead crane, forklift, etc.)

MUST be able to follow process and procedure on all types of tools (checklist, Dozuki, etc.)

Inventory Management – Service and cleaning of incoming tools

Participating in multiple Halliburton’s safety Programs
