Aecon Utilities est prte devenir le chef de file canadien de la construction de rseaux et nous recherchons un maitre lectricien pour nous aider y parvenir!</p> <p>Relevant du directeur des oprations, le matre lectricien est responsable de la supervision et de lexcution de tous les travaux sur le terrain, conformment aux exigences de la RBQ et en ce qui concerne le budget, lchancier, le rendement gnral et la rentabilit des projets.</p> <p> </p> <p>Responsabilits principales </p> <p> Assurer le respect de toutes les exigences de la Rgie du btiment du Qc (RBQ) et la conformit au Code de construction du Qubec, Chapitre V lectricit</p> <p> Veiller lapplication des politiques, procdures, normes de scurit et programmes environnementaux de lentreprise sur tous les projets</p> <p> Interprter les schmas lectriques, les plans, les spcifications et la documentation technique</p> <p> Superviser et soutenir linstallation des systmes, services et quipements lectriques sur lensemble des projets</p> <p> Contribuer au dpannage, la rsolution des problmes et au traitement rapide des incidents lectriques</p> <p> Suivre la performance des projets, notamment lutilisation de la main-duvre, les matriaux, le contrle de la qualit, la scurit et le respect des chanciers</p> <p> Accompagner les quipes de projet en matire de matrise des cots, de respect des chanciers et dutilisation efficace des ressources</p> <p> Analyser lavancement des projets et contribuer aux rapports mensuels sur les cots, les chanciers et les flux de trsorerie</p> <p> Participer lestimation des activits, y compris les heures de travail, les cots des matriaux, loutillage, lquipement et la planification</p> <p> Participer la prparation des appels doffres, des propositions et des prsentations, au besoin</p> <p> Sassurer que tous les bons de commande sont prpars, examins et signs par les clients</p> <p> Coordonner avec les quipes de projet, les sous-traitants et les parties prenantes internes la rsolution des problmes techniques ou oprationnels</p> <p> Contribuer lexpertise technique en matire de planification organisationnelle, de stratgie et dinitiatives damlioration continue</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Connaissances et exprience requises</b></p> <p> </p> <p> Minimum de 5 10 ans dexprience en tant que matre lectricien, de prfrence titre de matre lectricien dsign</p> <p> Licence de matre lectricien valide, avec la capacit de maintenir la licence RBQ dentrepreneur en lectricit de lentreprise</p> <p> Formation technique, par exemple un diplme dingnieur de quatre ans, un diplme dtudes collgiales techniques ou une combinaison quivalente de formation et dexprience pertinente</p> <p> Solide connaissance du secteur de la construction, des normes lectriques et des pratiques oprationnelles</p> <p> Exprience en distribution dnergie lectrique;</p> <p> Exprience avre de travail dans un environnement ax sur les projets; lexprience en leadership ou en supervision est un atout</p> <p> Excellentes aptitudes la communication orale et crite et excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles</p> <p> Sens de lorganisation aiguis et excellentes aptitudes danalyse, de planification et dadministration</p> <p> Souci exceptionnel du dtail, capacit prioriser et grer son temps</p> <p> Excellentes aptitudes en service la clientle et en dveloppement de relations</p> <p> Matrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><b>Position Overview</b></p> <p><b>Faster.Smarter.Safer</b>. Aecon Utilities is ready to become Canadas #1 utility construction provider and were looking for a Superintendent to help us get there!</p> <p> </p> <p>Reporting to the Manager, Operations the Master Electrician is responsible for the oversight and execution of all field work per ESA requirements, as it relates to projects budget, schedule, general performance and profitability.</p> <p><b>Key Responsibilities</b> </p> <ul> <li>Responsible for meeting all <b>Electrical Safety Authority (ESA)</b> requirements and ensuring full electrical code compliance</li> <li>Ensure company policies, procedures, safety standards, and environmental programs are followed on all projects</li> <li>Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation</li> <li>Oversee and support the installation of electrical systems, services, and equipment across projects</li> <li>Assist with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and resolving electrical issues in a timely manner</li> <li>Monitor project performance including labour usage, materials, quality control, safety, and scheduling</li> <li>Support project teams with cost awareness, scheduling adherence, and efficient resource utilization</li> <li>Review project progress and contribute to monthly reporting on costs, schedules, and cash flow</li> <li>Assist in estimating activities including labour hours, material costs, tools, equipment, and scheduling</li> <li>Participate in bid preparation, proposals, and presentations as required</li> <li>Ensure all work orders are prepared, reviewed, and signed by customers</li> <li>Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical or operational issues</li> <li>Contribute technical expertise to organizational planning, strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Required Knowledge and Experience</b></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 510 years of experience as a Master Electrician, preferably in a Designated Master Electrician role</li> <li>Valid Master Electrician license, with the ability to maintain the companys ESA Electrical Contractor License</li> <li>Technical education such as a four-year engineering degree, technical college diploma, or an equivalent combination of training and related experience</li> <li>Strong knowledge of the construction industry, electrical codes, and operational practices</li> <li>Experience in electrical distribution</li> <li>Proven experience working in a project-based environment; leadership or supervisory experience is an asset</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills</li> <li>Highly organized with strong analytical, planning, and administrative abilities</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail, prioritization, and time-management skills</li> <li>Strong customer service and relationship-building capabilities</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)</li> </ul><p> </p> <p>Aecon fosters diversity, inclusion and belonging within and across our organization.
