4-Month, Fixed-term Contract

Reporting to the Corporate Account Manager, the Campaign Associate will be a vital resource during campaign, helping to develop corporate community engagement and create public awareness – all while training, motivating and supporting workplace volunteers.

Participate fully as a member of the Campaign Associate team by attending all training, meetings and supporting campaign events.
Establish and foster relationships with campaign volunteers through effective communication, problem solving and team building skills.
Work with the manager to identify and develop opportunities to maximize engagement and revenue within accounts or portfolios.
Support workplaces by participating in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of their United Way campaigns.
Lead campaign meetings, facilitate training sessions and presentations to a variety of groups from workplaces that support United Way. Flexibility and readiness to lead and facilitate online or in person dependent upon the changing environment.
Such as panel discussions, speakers, agency tours, Day of Caring© and interactive learning opportunities (virtual and/or face to face dependent on circumstances).
Adaptable and comfortable with using new technology and a variety of platforms for online meetings or virtual event tools.
Maintain and update United Way’s database and account logs on a regular basis.
Complete the campaign cycle by ensuring that award requests are submitted, letters of thanks are written and final reports are completed for each account.
Support other tasks or projects within the overall Resource Development team.
Evening, early morning or weekend work may be required.
Ability to work independently in an open office or at home (dependent on circumstances).
Recommended Health & Safety guidelines must be followed for remote and on-site work.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.
Hourly Rate and Length
~$45 per hour
~ Contract is 4-months (August through December)

Our office is located in Calgary and employees are expected to work in the office 2–3 days per week or more as required. Effective September 1st, our in-office days for all staff will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Our hybrid approach strengthens our culture of collaboration, innovation and learning while being flexible where possible.
