The Town of High Level is currently accepting applications from motivated individuals for the position of Equipment Operator. Candidates with a Class 3 drivers’ license and interested in becoming equipment operators are invited to apply.

 

Our Equipment Operators are responsible for the operation of Tandem Trucks with trailers, Front-End loaders, Backhoes, Gravel/Sander/Plow Trucks, Street Sweepers, and a variety of smaller equipment. Additional work includes the repair and maintenance of water and wastewater systems.

 

In exchange for your skill and hard work, the Town offers:

 

  • A competitive hourly rate of $24.43 – $40.38 per hour depending upon experience
  • A 40-hour work week and home every night
  • Comprehensive benefit package including 100% premium paid vision, extended health, and dental. Health Spending account of $1,000 per year and Wellness Spending Account of $300 per year. Life and Critical Illness insurance and Long and Short Term Disability coverage
  • Provincial Pension Plan with the Town contributing more than the Employee towards your financial future
  • Annual Travel Benefit Allowance
  • Annual vacation commencing at 15 days per year
