Job Title: FBO Supervisor

TARCG is currently seeking an FBO Supervisor to work with our client based in Montreal, Quebec. The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience at either an FBO or commercial ramp and have a proven track record in leading a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operational activities on the ramp and adjacent aprons ensuring safe, efficient, on-time, customer-focused arrivals and departures.
  • Work closely with the FBO team and crews ensuring that the customer service needs are met while promoting two-way communications.
  • Support the management of the customer interface; resolve concerns from the staff, crew, and/or customer issues within the level of delegated authority.
  • Ensure adherence to world fuel services standards related to the safe operation and maintenance of fuel trucks and fuel farm (if applicable). Responsible for all fuel ordering and inventory.
  • Ensure that the crew is prepared and fully trained for winter operations. If support is required, identify support needs immediately (prior to season start)
  • Develop a full understanding of the maintenance departments’ general operations in the interest of maintaining effective relationships.

Requirements:

  • Embodies professionalism, discretion, and exhibits tact during communications/situations.
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal / relationship skills.
  • Strong supervisory skills, including the ability to motivate, train, and retain.
  • Positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • High safety orientation as well as experience with SMS/safety management processes.
  • Strong computer skills and understanding/knowledge of software related to the function.
  • Flexible to work hours, including evenings and weekends, and be on call as required to meet the needs of the operation.
  • Track record as someone who works well under pressure.
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
