SITECH helps civil engineering and construction customers leverage technology systems for their entire fleet of heavy equipment and survey needs. This position reports directly to the Service Manager. The following summarizes some key elements of the role.Field Service Technician:Participate in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviors and practices at all times in support of SITECH’s health and safety policy programs and initiatives;Repair, service and support 2D and 3D heavy construction machine control and guidance systems, paving systems, mobile GPS technologies, payload systems, all components and related software.Provide field installation, system troubleshooting, repairs, and training/support for customers in the field.Provide Timely follow-up and resolution, and remain current on open projects to keep work backlog to a minimum.Manage required service and support related-information, forms and paperwork as directed by management and or in accordance with company policies and procedures.Perform inspections on equipment on job siteEnsure parts are ordered in a timely mannerManeuver efficiently and effectively within the region in all traffic situationsProvide excellent customer relations in a fast-pacedAdaptable to on-call work schedules and willing to work in all weather conditions;Ensure vehicle is maintained and organizedPerform other duties as assigned.SITECH Eastern Canada is committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
