Are you an experienced Financial Analyst with a solid background in month-end close and financial reporting?
Adecco is hiring on behalf of our client for a 3-month contract position based in Dartmouth, NS, offering a competitive rate of $36/hour.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting essential financial operations during a high demand reporting period. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and have the opportunity to make a meaningful, immediate impact.

  • Pay rate: $36/hour.
  • Location: Dartmouth, NS
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Job type: 3–month contract | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in the month-end process and monthly financial analysis.
  • Preparing and completing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Developing and maintaining monthly and quarterly operating reports.
  • Handling third-party requests from auditors and financial institutions.
  • Supporting the budgeting process and creating custom financial reports.
  • Collaborating across departments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to multitask and manage tight deadlines.
