Fire Suppression Representative

Bison Fire Protection Inc., a leader in the fire protection industry is growing and searching for a Fire Suppression Representative for our Winnipeg, MB branch.

We are currently seeking a Fire Suppression Representative to join our team, supporting quoting, estimating, and project coordination efforts across fire protection and construction projects. This is a junior-level role with growth potential, ideal for someone with field experience looking to transition into a fire suppression representative opportunity

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes for fire suppression projects ranging from small service jobs to large-scale installations.
• Handle deficiency quoting and follow-up with customers.
• Engage in daily customer interactions via phone and email
• Support project management tasks including scheduling, coordination, and documentation.
• Occasionally travel to job sites (approximately 20% of the time).
• Collaborate with field teams and trades to ensure accurate scope and pricing.
• Assist with estimating and quoting across various trades, with a focus on fire protection systems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in fire protection or construction industry (field experience is an asset).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of construction trades and terminology.
• 80% office-based, with occasional site visits.
• High volume of communication via phone and email.
• Collaborative team environment with mentorship opportunities.
