Job Responsibilities

  • Manage daily kitchen and culinary program execution with excellence
  • Train, mentor and develop the skills of all culinary team members alongside fellow Kitchen Supervisors
  • Follow cyclical menus and recipes
  • Oversee food production for the dining facilities including preparation of soups, daily menus, entrees, vegetables, sauces, gravies, etc.,
  • Ensure that all food remains eye-appealing and replenished throughout the service
  • Tear down line after service either storing correctly or disposing of product
  • Clean line and grill area
  • Ensure that correct storage conditions for products such as meats, produce, and dairy are maintained
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications

  • 2-year Cooking diploma or Journeyman?s cook certification
  • Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate
  • Successful Government Clearance
  • Reliable transportation is a must
