Summary:
The Funding Analyst will review funding submissions to ensure funds are advanced to vendors in a timely manner. This role provides exceptional customer service throughout the fulfillment process by responding to inquiries and escalating issues as required. This role will also focus on areas such as auditing documentation, communicating with the broker teams and submitting registrations for funded contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and review lease and rental documentation to ensure compliance and proper contract execution.
- Collaborate internally to identify and resolve contract issues, while maintaining accurate funded contracts and supporting documentation.
- Ensure policy and regulatory compliance, proactively escalate risks, and support periodic audits to maintain process integrity.
- Collaborate internally to improve funding workflows and efficiency, enhance stakeholder satisfaction, and adapt processes in response to policy and regulatory changes.
- Ad hoc tasks as assigned
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in funding, leasing or financial services
Other Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and think critically in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate active listening and a growth mindset, with openness to learn and adapt.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems; experience with funding systems is an asset
