<p></p><p></p><p><b>Position:</b> GCP Platform Engineer / GCP DevOps Engineer</p><p><br></p><p><b>Location:</b> Remote (Anywhere in Canada)</p><p><br></p><p><b>Duration:</b> 6-Month Contract</p><p><br></p><p><b>Start:</b> Immediate</p><p><br></p><p><b>About the Role:</b></p><p>We are looking for an experienced <b>GCP Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer</b> to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in <b>Google Cloud Platform (GCP)</b> and <b>Terraform</b>, with hands-on experience building reusable infrastructure modules and automating deployment processes in a cloud-native environment.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain <b>Terraform modules</b> for provisioning and managing GCP infrastructure.</li><li>Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions to automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment across GCP environments.</li><li>Collaborate with architecture, development, and operations teams to design scalable, secure, and resilient GCP solutions.</li><li>Manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud networking, IAM policies, and service configurations in GCP.</li><li>Troubleshoot and optimize cloud deployments for performance, cost efficiency, and compliance.</li><li>Provide technical expertise and best practices for GCP infrastructure management.</li></ul><p><b>Required Skills & Experience:</b></p><ul><li><b>5+ years</b> of experience in <b>DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineering</b>, with a strong focus on GCP.</li><li><b>Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform</b> — writing modules, managing state files, and integrating with CI/CD tools.</li><li>Strong understanding of <b>GCP services</b> such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Build.</li><li>Experience with <b>CI/CD tools</b> (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build).</li><li>Proficiency with <b>scripting languages</b> such as Python or Bash.</li><li>Familiarity with <b>containerization and orchestration</b> (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.</li></ul><p><b>Nice to Have:</b></p><ul><li>GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Cloud Architect certification.</li><li>Experience with multi-cloud environments or hybrid infrastructure setups.</li></ul><p></p>
