<p><b>General Manager, Canada</b></p><p><b>Victoria, BC, Canada</b></p><p><b>Full Time On Site</b></p><p><b>Reports to the CEO & CFO</b></p><p><b>Relocation Support Offered if Applicable </b></p><p><br></p><p>My client delivers biologics discovery and development services, integrating in silico and AI driven approaches into scientific delivery for small, mid and large pharma and biotech clients.</p><p><br></p><p>Im hiring a GM to lead this site through their next growth phase. The Victoria site has exceptional scientific talent, a solid process foundation and a rapidly increasing client base.</p><p><br></p><p>As GM, you will:</p><ul><li>Own P&L, delivery performance and site scaling</li><li>Drive the practical integration of AI and/or LLM tools into operations</li><li>Optimize workflows</li><li>Tighten execution discipline </li><li>Evolve the operating model</li></ul><p><br></p><p>The site has 30 FTEs and the role operates a fee-for-service, non GMP lab environment</p><p><br></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>15 years experience of management experience including business performance, P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, margin management and cost control.</li><li>5+ years in a CRO, CDMO or fee-for-service biologics services environment</li><li>8 years of experience leading leaders</li><li>Experience implementing AI and LLM tools in operational or scientific service settings, with a clear view of where they add value and how to drive team-wide adoption.</li><li>Proven track record optimizing and scaling operations in high-growth environments, evolving processes, systems, and org design to handle increasing volume and complexity.</li><li>Strong ability to manage competing priorities, allocate time and resources effectively, and keep multiple initiatives moving without sacrificing quality or follow‑through.</li><li>Solid change management experience, including scaling teams, embedding operating discipline, and improving performance during rapid growth.</li><li>Demonstrated success leading software rollouts in scientific operations, from adoption and training through stabilization.</li><li>Strong client‑facing leadership across program reviews, delivery communications, and issue escalation.</li><li>Experience working in a fee‑for‑service, non‑GMP laboratory environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Experience applying AI and LLM tools to enhance operational reporting, program tracking, and workflow efficiency in scientific or professional services environments.</li><li>Familiarity with AI use cases in biologics R&D, including in silico modeling, computational biology, and AI‑assisted experimental design.</li><li>Experience working across multiple sites and geographies, with close collaboration alongside EU‑based teams.</li><li>Proven ability to set and manage site‑level priorities amid competing client commitments, resource constraints, and delivery timelines.</li></ul><p></p>
