Job Title: Guidewire Digital Developer (React / Policy Center)

Location: Remote

Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Digital Developer to join our team and support the design, development, and enhancement of Guidewire-based digital customer and agent portals. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in ReactJS, Java, and Guidewire Digital Portal frameworks, with strong knowledge of cloud, API integration, and modern web development practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance customer and agent-facing digital portals built on Guidewire Digital (Customer Engage / Producer Engage).
  • Build responsive, scalable front-end applications using ReactJS (hooks, context API, component lifecycle).
  • Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend Guidewire systems (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization frameworks (OAuth2, JWT).
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across UI, application, and service layers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, architects, and QA testers.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire Digital Portal development.
  • 3+ years of professional experience with ReactJS and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI design.
  • Solid understanding of REST web services, JSON, and API-based system integration.
  • Experience working with Spring Boot and Core Java.
  • knowledge of how Guidewire back-end platforms integrate with the portal layer.
  • Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Excellent debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with Guidewire Digital Framework 10.x+.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with Redux, Material UI, or other UI component libraries.
  • Insurance industry domain knowledge (policyholder or agent workflow experience).
  • Guidewire Digital Developer certification is a plus.
