Many of us spend longer planning a 2-week vacation than we do planning for our retirement. Although there are plenty of tools and services to help us prepare financially, there is limited support for the other transitions we experience.
Questions we face include: Who will I become when I retire? How do I find meaning and purpose? How do I manage changing relationships? How can I overcome old habits and negative thoughts?
These topics are often overlooked in traditional retirement planning, leaving many unprepared for the mental, social, physical, and spiritual aspects of retirement.
Bloom was founded to explore these complex feelings and create a safe space for discussion and growth.
We are based in Toronto and supported by top-tier venture capitalists in NYC and SF.
What you will be doing :
- Strategy + Execution: Develop and implement a holistic marketing strategy covering demand generation, brand, product, customer, and content marketing.
- Brand: Collaborate with the Chief Brand Officer to build and maintain Bloom’s brand, including messaging, tone, design, and public relations to increase awareness and loyalty.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain strong communication with Community and Product teams to achieve marketing goals.
- Team Building: Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team, fostering alignment and enhancing skills.
- Marketing Analytics: Set KPIs, report on marketing effectiveness, and use analytics to inform decisions.
What you would ideally bring to the team :
- 5+ years of marketing experience.
- 5+ years in a high-growth SaaS company, preferably B2C.
- Ability to develop, evolve, and execute comprehensive marketing strategies.
- A strategic yet hands-on leadership style.
- Brand-centric with creative intuition and a keen eye for design.
- Experience in building, inspiring, and coaching marketing teams to meet ambitious goals.
- Mastery of data, analytics, marketing funnel metrics, and KPIs for B2C SaaS.
- Understanding or experience with growing world-class communities.
