Health And Safety Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Vancouver, BC for a Health And Safety Manager. The Health And Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety programs within the organization. Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, delivering safety training sessions, and preparing reports on workplace safety. The individual will also respond to health and safety incidents and work towards continuous improvement of safety standards.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health skills
• Experience in Safety Training and holding a NEBOSH certification
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement corrective actions
• Prior experience in a similar role in the engineering or manufacturing industry is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
