Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Health Care Aid – Cantonese Speaking Language at our North Vancouver, BC location. The Health Care Aid will be responsible for providing Alzheimer’s and dementia care, personal care (bathing, grooming, hygiene), respite care for family caregivers, transition of care after hospital stays, chronic condition management, medication reminders and safety supervision. Additional tasks include transportation, shopping, errands, light housekeeping, and companionship.
Qualifications
- Experience in EMT and Medicine
- Cantonese Speaking Language
- Strong Communication and Training skills
- Background in Healthcare
- Proficiency in Cantonese required
- Dedicated to providing compassionate care
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Certified Health Care Assistant (HCA) Certification or equivalent
