HR Shared Services Associate 6 month contract Based near Hayes, 5 days onsite Up to £39,000 (paid hourly)
Your new company 
I am partnering with a leading global company to recruit a HR Shared Service Associate on a 6 month contract. You will join a fast-paced HR Shared Services team responsible for the day-to-day management of employee absences and HR related enquiries. You will be detail-oriented, flexible with continuous process/system changes, and possess a problem-solving mindset. 
Your new role 

  • Be responsible for analysing and answering HR related queries and work with key contacts including local HR support, COE colleagues and other key stakeholders
  • Own changes and keep employee information updated, such as absence and termination status, and process applicable changes in an accurate and timely manner
  • Proactively maintain and administer accurate and timely HR data in the global HR System (Workday); input, update and reconcile data as required to ensure information is current and accurate.
  • Interpret and explain company policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations and advise managers and employees on the interaction of leave laws with paid time off, workers’ compensation, and short-term and long-term disability benefits
  • Work with data, report on our plans, investigate and reconcile discrepancies
  • Craft, document, and maintain leave administration processes
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of leave requests
  • Provide support for a range of HR administrative processes supporting the employee lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the on-going development of HR knowledge to help employees quickly and easily find an answer to their questions via self-service
  • Assist with creating or updating internal training tools and process manuals for team members to maximise the effective use of Workday
  • Collaborate with other regional HRSS teams for alignment and knowledge sharing
  • Partner with key stakeholders such as Managers, HRBPs, People Technology, Mobility, Benefits and Payroll to resolve data issues
  • Participate in ad hoc HR projects as directed by HR Shared Services People Leaders
  • Lead efforts to document, simplify and standardise HR business processes specific to the EMEA region

What you’ll need to succeed 

  • Possess a strong customer service orientation while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality with each interaction
  • Knowledge of HR policies, practices, procedures, laws, and system tools
  • Strong communication, organisational, collaboration, documentation, and presentation skills
  • Data analysis skills, including strong excel skills such as pivot tables and v-lookups (preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage confidential information
  • Ability to prioritise workload 
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
