We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our consultancy team in Toronto, Ontario. This is a long-term contract position that offers an opportunity to work directly with employees, manage recruitment efforts, and oversee key HR functions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of HR processes and tools to support the organization’s goals effectively.Responsibilities:- Provide direct support to employees on HR-related matters, including leave of absence management and employee relations.- Draft and distribute memos and other communications to ensure clarity and compliance across the organization.- Coordinate recruitment activities, including attending university fairs, interviewing interns, and managing candidate pipelines.- Oversee benefits administration and address inquiries related to benefit programs.- Utilize HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian to manage employee data and payroll functions effectively.- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations through regular audits and reviews.- Foster strong communication channels within the organization to support employee engagement and satisfaction.- Collaborate with teams to implement and optimize HR tools, including ATS and CRM systems.- Develop strategies to improve HR processes and contribute to organizational success.- Monitor and address workplace concerns to maintain a positive and productive environment.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on employee relations and recruitment.- Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and ATS.- Strong understanding of compliance standards and auditing processes.- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with employees and leadership.- Experience in benefits administration and familiarity with related functions.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a dynamic environment.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Knowledge of CRM systems and their application in HR processes.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
