This role is critical in supporting the plant’s operational goals through collaborative leadership, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.💼 About the Role:Reports to: VP of HR (based in Michigan)Direct Reports: 6 (Generalists, Payroll/Benefits, Training, and an On-site Nurse)Workforce: ~1,000 employees | Non-unionized | Diverse & bilingualIndustry: High-volume, fast-paced manufacturing (food & beverage preferred)Compensation: $195,000 base + up to 60% bonusLanguage Requirement: Fluency in French and English is a mustLocation: On-site role in Canada🌟 What You’ll Be Leading:Full HR strategy execution at a flagship plantSuccession planning, coaching, and development of HR teamSupporting cross-functional leadership (operations, engineering, logistics)Navigating cultural dynamics and fostering collaborationDriving process efficiency and cultural alignment post-transition🧩 Who You Are:A seasoned HR leader with experience in large manufacturing environmentsProven track record in coaching, team building, and succession planningComfortable managing change, solving ambiguity, and aligning HR with business strategyExperienced in non-union environments, ideally with union avoidance exposureBilingual in French and English, able to build trust across multiple layers of the businessIdeally has experience in food/beverage manufacturing and/or multinational operationsThe team is now looking for a collaborative, empowering HR leader who can delegate, develop others, and build a modern, forward-thinking HR function.📩 Interested?
