Altis Recruitment is partnering with a respected engineering organization to find a collaborative and forward-thinking Human Resources Business Partner. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, helping shape people strategies that support performance, engagement, and long-term growth.
You will work closely with management teams across Canada, influencing HR strategy while remaining hands-on in program delivery and employee support. Your Responsibilities
- You’ll partner with leaders to support professional employee groups across Canada, providing guidance on a wide range of HR matters.
- In this role, you’ll coach managers on leadership development, performance management, talent planning, change initiatives, and employee engagement.
- You’ll design and deliver HR programs including onboarding, performance processes, compensation support, engagement initiatives, and leadership development reviews.
- You’ll collaborate with talent acquisition partners to develop recruitment strategies and address hiring challenges.
- You’ll ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies, including conducting investigations and maintaining accurate HR documentation.
- You’ll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by influencing HR policies, programs, and ways of working.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role.
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- CHRP or CPHR designation preferred.
- Experience supporting federally regulated environments an asset.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proven ability to develop and implement practical HR solutions aligned to business needs.
