Description

The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct recruitment duties in support of the organization
  • Employee development, performance, recognition and retention
  • Perform day to day recruitment and on-boarding
  • Support with compensation planning
  • Assisting with payroll processing
  • Administer the benefits plan administration
  • Employee relations and communications
  • Gather and track time records of employees and calculates hours worked in order to make accurate payments
  • Provide information and answer employee questions about HR-related matters.
  • Maintain employee records.

Requirements:

  • A post-secondary diploma in Business, Office or HR Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Human Resources
  • Recruitment and payroll experience required
  • Ability to participate in HR projects
  • ADP experience is an asset
  • Experienced in Health & Safety management and HRIS
  • Experience in employee development, mentorship and succession planning
  • Effective communicator (verbal and written)
