About the Role

We are seeking an experienced U.S. Immigration Paralegal to support a high-volume corporate immigration practice. This role focuses heavily on L-1 and H-1B petitions and requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience preparing and filing U.S. nonimmigrant visa petitions,

coordinating with attorneys and corporate clients, and working under tight deadlines. This is a fully remote role based in Canada, supporting U.S. immigration matters.

Key Responsibilities

● Prepare and file high-volume L-1 and H-1B petitions, including extensions, amendments, and transfers.

● Draft and compile immigration forms, support letters, and petition documentation with accuracy and efficiency.

● Coordinate with attorneys, internal teams, and corporate clients to gather required information and documents.

● Track case progress, deadlines, RFEs, and filing milestones across multiple active matters.

● Maintain organized and compliant electronic case files.

● Respond to routine client inquiries regarding case status and next steps.

● Ensure filings comply with USCIS regulations and internal quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience

● 3+ years of hands-on experience as a U.S. Immigration Paralegal

● Strong, recent experience with L-1 and H-1B visa petitions (required)

● Experience working in a high-volume immigration environment

● In-depth knowledge of USCIS forms, processes, and timelines

● Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

● Strong written and verbal communication skills

● Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting

Preferred Skills

● Experience supporting corporate or global mobility immigration programs

● Prior experience working with U.S.-based immigration law firms or in-house teams

● Familiarity with case management systems and electronic filing processes
