Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Base Salary: $127,000/ Yr. to $199,000/ Yr.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Lead – Customer Applications to architect and implement a next-generation entitlement management system for software and services.
This role will lead technical decision-making, drive solution design, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing customer-facing applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise architecture, licensing/entitlement solutions, cloud technologies, and integrations with backend systems.
This role requires both leadership and hands-on technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Architecture:

Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of the entitlement/licensing management solution.
Develop deep expertise in the licensing platform and drive best practices across teams.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and compliance requirements.
Optimize system performance, focusing on scalability, speed, and reliability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define and implement B2B licensing and monetization strategies.
Collaborate with enterprise architects to integrate entitlement systems with enterprise platforms.
Work with global stakeholders, providing clear communication through documentation and presentations.

Implementation & Operational Excellence:

Contribute to solution design for entitlement management of software licenses.
Solve day-to-day operational challenges related to entitlement and licensing workflows.
Support application integrations with backend ERP and enterprise IT systems.
Ensure compliance with data privacy standards such as PII, GDPR, and CFR.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
8+ years of experience with core computer science principles and system design.
2+ years in a technical lead role managing medium to large teams.
Expertise in enterprise solution design using off-the-shelf and custom solutions.
Experience building customer-facing applications and integrating with backend ERP systems.
Proficiency in backend languages: NodeJS or Python.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (storage, caching, API Gateway, IAM/RBAC).
Strong understanding of B2B software licensing and monetization methods.
Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
Ability to translate requirements into detailed design/solution documentation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
