Role Summary:
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Instructional Design & eLearning Specialist. This role blends instructional design, content development, and video production to support internal learning programs and external-facing digital media. Key Responsibilities:
Instructional Design & eLearning
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop online learning content.
- Build interactive eLearning modules, microlearning courses, assessments, and supplemental materials such as handouts and job aids.
- Apply best practices in adult learning, instructional UX, and design principles.
- Ensure content is SCORM-compliant and optimized for mobile use.
- Upload and maintain learning materials on the Client’s Online site (LearnWorlds experience is a plus).
- Conduct regular reviews and updates to keep content accurate and relevant.
- Provide technical support to learners and respond to questions about course functionality.
Video Production & Digital Content
- Lead the production of educational and marketing videos, from concept through delivery.
- Assist with live-streamed events, internal communications, and customer/partner instruction videos.
- Organize and maintain media archives, footage, and project assets.
- Participate in video editing, syncing footage, creating media cuts, and ensuring all final files are properly formatted for web and social use.
- Provide input and direction on digital storytelling, ensuring clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
Creative Collaboration & Strategy
- Work with various teams to support internal training, external marketing, and product education efforts.
- Maintain a consistent production schedule and deliver high-quality assets on time.
- Provide creative feedback and bring a fresh perspective to new projects.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in instructional design, video production, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable using authoring tools and digital learning platforms (LearnWorlds, Kajabi, or similar).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
- Experience with video and audio editing tools; Adobe Creative Suite preferred but not required.
- Strong visual design sense and understanding of learning styles and user engagement strategies.
- Organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or specialization in multimedia or education preferred.
- A portfolio of relevant work (video samples, course design, etc.) is strongly encouraged.
