About the Role

We are hiring an Integration Specialist to help deliver cutting-edge digital banking solutions by integrating core banking systems with modern digital channels. This is a critical role in enabling seamless, secure, and efficient services for credit unions and financial institutions across Canada.

You will work at the intersection of banking technology and digital innovation helping bring online and mobile banking platforms to life by bridging the gap between legacy systems and modern applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret core banking systems and data structures to support seamless integration with digital banking platforms.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and solution architects to translate business needs into integration specifications.
  • Design and document integration workflows that ensure accurate and secure data exchange between systems.
  • Identify migration needs when transitioning from legacy systems to modern platforms, including assessing data gaps, transformation logic, and sequencing strategies.
  • Facilitate integration with third-party systems including identity verification, payment networks, document management, and more.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues across development, QA, and production environments, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain integration documentation and contribute to ongoing improvement of integration processes and standards.
  • Ensure all integration work complies with banking regulations, security standards, and data privacy requirements.

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years experience working with core banking systems or financial services data models.
  • Strong understanding of banking workflows such as account opening, payments, transfers, and customer onboarding.
  • Proven expertise in system integration and API-based communication (REST/SOAP).
  • Hands-on experience with Swagger (API documentation, design, and validation) and Postman (API testing, automation, and collections).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
  • Ability to work methodically, documenting integration points, data flows, and system dependencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with middleware or integration platforms (e.g. FiServ, CGI Wealthview, RFS360, and other payment services such as Central1 Interac).
  • Familiarity with modern digital banking architectures and platforms.
  • Experience working with credit unions or financial technology vendors.
  • Understanding of security, compliance, and data protection requirements in financial services.
