Your New Company:

We are a full-service architectural and interior design studio with a broad portfolio spanning civic, educational, residential, cultural, and commercial projects. Our work includes both new construction and the thoughtful transformation of existing spaces, as well as strategic planning efforts such as feasibility studies, site analysis, and master planning. As a small, collaborative team, we value a lateral working style that draws on the diverse strengths of each member. Our experience across a wide range of building types allows us to approach each project with adaptability and insight. We have developed expertise in educational environments, working closely with institutions and stakeholders to deliver renovations and upgrades that support long-term goals.

*This is a hybrid role after 3 months*

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing building products, conduct building code reviews, and integrate this information into technical documents
  • Proficiency within Revit and AutoCad, and MS Office Applications.
  • Coordinate design and technical information with project managers, clients, public agencies, consultants, and contractors
  • Create detailed drawings that comply with industry standards and code requirements.
  • Participate in the preparation of construction documents, such as specifications, schedules, and material selections.
  • Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to discuss project progress and coordinate design efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5+ years of Canadian experience as an Architectural Technologist, local experience is preferred.
  • You will have an Architectural Technology Diploma or equivalent.
  • You must have strong proficiency with Revit, REQUIRED.
  • Experience in Multi-family, Commercial, Offices, Retail.
  • Proficiency in working in wood-frame, steel-frame, and concrete construction.
  • Must have a fast-paced mindset and be eager to start working from day one.
  • Portfolio required.

The successful candidate will receive:

  • An attractive compensation package of $65,000 – $75,000 (dependent on experience)
