We are looking for a hard-working Investor Relations officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will either already have a Dealing Representative (EMD) license or is open to obtain this license.You will be responsible for overseeing the administrative processes of a mutual fund trust and other investment products. With appropriate licensing, you will also be responsible for onboarding and managing investor clients. You will be working in a fun, fast paced professional environment where being detailed orientated with strong time management skills are critical.Job Responsibilities:AdministrativeOrganize and manage the administrative aspects of a mutual fund trust.Ensure investor files are complete and organized.Pre-populate appropriate subscription documents.Responsible for tracking investor cash-flow.Liaise with other team members, investors and dealers.Keep track and implement changes to policies and procedures (internal and external via applicable legislation).Work with the Fund’s administrators and trustees to complete fund transactions.Follow-up with various third-party service providers via email, phone or online portals.Allocating investor’s fund according to their preferences while keeping the overall capital needs in mind.Investigate any discrepancies and non-compliance.Is familiar with mutual fund trust closing procedures and completes them in a timely manner.Complete monthly/quarterly/annual reporting as required.Work directly with the President to ensure the trust operates efficiently and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Ontario Securities Commission.Training and cross-training when required.Other administrative duties as assigned.Licensed Activities (if licensed)· Meet with potential investor clients· Onboard new investors by completing a Know-Your-Client assessment· Collect documentation – including satisfying AML requirement· Update compliance records such as AML, KYC documentation, Know-Your-Product, etc.· Prepare and submit SEDAR exempt market filings.· Process updates to client KYC records.· Other regulated activities as assigned.Qualifications:Ability to prioritize, multi-task, organize, and execute in a fast paced environment.Detail orientated, with excellent organizational and follow up skills.Strong written and oral communicator.Personable and professional.Successfully adapts to changing situations.Energetic, works independently within the team.Problem solver and a master at puzzles.Self-motivated and does not require direction.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Dealing Representative (EMD) license or equivalent (If not licensed, open to licensing)University degree or equivalent.Previous financial service experience an asset.Do you pride yourself on a strong work ethic as well as being able to juggle various projects?
