Junior Business Analyst

6 Months contract– Potential to extension or conversion

Hybrid 2x per week in downtown Montreal

Salary: $35-$37/hr

Job Description:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions
Support ongoing and new projects aimed at enhancing existing processes and static data structures
Assist in the development and automation of workflows using tools like Power Automate
Analyze and visualize data using Excel, Power BI, and SQL to support business decisions
Contribute to documentation, reporting, and presentation of findings to stakeholders
Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery phases
Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable insights
Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from business units

Must Have Requirements:

1+ years of experience in business analysis
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
Strong proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power Automate, Power BI, SQL, HTML, JavaScript
Demonstrated ability to work on project-based initiatives
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Tech-savvy mindset with a passion for process improvement
Power automate and UI
