<p><b>The Client</b></p><p>A major financial services corporation with operations in multiple countries.</p><p><br></p><p><b>What you will achieve in the role</b></p><ul><li><b>Support </b>various banking <b>applications.</b></li><li>Be the <b>1st point of contact </b>between business and the 1st level of support.</li><li><b>Perform admin support</b> for applications (account admin, make changes, add users, design documentation, monitor issues, make enhancements, etc.).</li><li>Acts as a liaison and facilitator between all business units and technology teams to <b>investigate and resolve application functionality, technical-related issues or requests</b>.</li><li>Work with business, technology and management staff to gather business requirements and convert them to technical requirements.</li><li>Conduct <b>system administration tasks</b> on a regular basis.</li><li>Develop monthly reports and present status of projects to the leadership team.</li><li><b>Design and create queries and reports using SQL, Power BI </b>or any other BI tool, if required</li><li>Create <b>incident reports </b>for leadership review.</li><li>Develop presentations for management.</li><li>Participate in SDLC including <b>testing </b>(unit, end-to-end, parallel), implementation, training and documentation. </li><li>Provides assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of systems </li><li>Assist with research to identify solutions for current and future business needs. </li><li>Identify technology modification requirements in existing applications to meet business user requirements</li><li>Assist in designing and creating EUC tools by analyzing business, user and regulatory requirements.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What you will bring to the role</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferably in a technology related discipline).</li><li><b>3 to 5 years of Business Systems Analysis and Application Support in Banking</b> is mandatory.</li><li>Expertise in <b>writing SQL queries</b>, developing reports and presenting findings.</li><li>Experience in <b>Visio</b> to visualize process flows.</li><li>Advanced <b>Excel (macros)</b> knowledge to support end user applications.</li><li>Proficient in developing presentations using <b>PowerPoint.</b></li><li>Exposure to <b>Power BI</b> – gather requirements, determine data fields, provide info to data analytics team.</li><li>Experience in <b>Fintrac</b> EFT Reporting, <b>DTCC</b> (derivatives reporting) or <b>Document Management </b>Systems is a <b>big asset.</b></li><li>Strong process mapping skills; gather and analyze data, organize findings, build presentations</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate ideas, project status, and recommendations.</li><li>Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings to all levels of business partners.</li><li>Strong planning and coordination skills for implementing cross-functional processes and activities.</li><li>Effective analytical skills and proactive approach to problem-solving with limited supervision</li><li>Strong organizing, prioritizing and time management skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Only those who are qualified will be contacted</b></p>
