The ideal candidate will be experienced in drafting, negotiating, and advising and should have a proven ability to resolve disputes, handle high workloads, and independently manage multiple time-sensitive files while maintaining performance momentum and addressing competing priorities effectively.Responsibilities:Communicate with clients and discuss options, strategies, and solutions at key junctures of their case so they understand their options and make informed decisionPrepare legal documents and pleadings; such as applications, answers, briefs, motion materials, affidavits, etc.Prepare clients for hearings and trialsAttend conferences and trialsQualifications:Ability to handle files from start to finishAbility to handle all aspects of files, from intake to resolution, with minimal supervisionReliability, organization skills, the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adhere to strict deadlinesAbility to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, coworkers, and other professionalsAbility to prepare clients for questioning, mediations and all court appearancesAbility to review and prepare materials including pleadings, affidavits, briefs, facta, and other court documents, and to organize disclosureStrong research skillsEffective communication skills
