Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Licensed Trailer Technician to join our client’s skilled maintenance team. Our client is one of north Americas premier transportation companies. As a Licensed Trailer Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring trailers are safe, roadworthy, and maintained to the highest standards.
- Location: Winnipeg, MB
- Shift: 4 x10 hours per shift or 5 x 8 hours per shift
- Job type: Permanent| Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers in accordance with standards.
- Accurately diagnose mechanical issues during inspections and prescribe corrective actions.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency and high-quality service.
- Document completed work and inspections using internal computer systems.
- Conduct and support safety inspections (CVIP), ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Certified Journeyman Technician or 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Licensed Heavy-Duty Mechanic designation preferred.
- Previous CVIP inspection experience is an asset; must be able to obtain CVIP certification.
- Strong diagnostic and time management skills.
- Computer proficiency, including maintenance software and work order systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional team-oriented attitude.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
